Two Arizona residents were arrested yesterday after a woman's body was discovered inside a 55 gallon drum buried at a Kingman property, police said. Nine were arrested during a Mohave County Sheriff's Office sting. The following men were arrested in connection with the sting: Paul John Carlton, 33 of Kingman, for sexual exploitation of a minor, transmitting obscene materials to a minor and luring a minor for sexual exploitation; Justin Donald Harryman, 39 of Kingman, for sexual exploitation of a minor and luring a minor for sexual exploitation; Warren Mitchell Gillespie, 45 of Lake Havasu City, for six counts of luring a minor for sexual exploitation and six counts of commercial sexual exploitation of a minor. Also arrested were Daniel Eugene Martin, 33 of Lake Havasu City, for luring a minor for sexual exploitation and sexual exploitation of a minor; James David Earnest, 56 of Bullhead City, for sexual exploitation of a minor, furnishing harmful materials to a minor and luring a minor for sexual exploitation; year-old Albert Anthony Olvera of Bullhead City for two counts of attempted sexual exploitation of a minor and two counts of luring a minor for sexual exploitation. Another Bullhead City man, year-old George Stephen Lizotte, was arrested for five counts of luring a minor for sexual exploitation, three counts of attempted sexual exploitation of a minor and one count of attempted sexual conduct with a minor. Lastly, two Las Vegas men were arrested. Durell Keith Shaw, 33, for 10 counts of luring a minor for sexual exploitation, one count of attempted sexual exploitation of a minor and one count of attempted sexual conduct with a minor; and Kevin Harry Moninger, 63, for three counts of luring a minor for sexual exploitation and one count of attempted sexual conduct with a minor.
A Kingman man is facing multiple charges in the hit-and-run death of a year-old woman who was killed in April, the Mohave County Sheriff's Office said. Authorities determined she had been hit by a vehicle. The next day, a vehicle suspected in the hit-and-run was found abandoned in a wash, the sheriff's office said. Detectives found evidence in the vehicle linking it to the crash. Investigators later obtained a search warrant and found additional information to indicate Whybark was driving the vehicle, the Sheriff's Office said. Whybark initially was arrested on an unrelated matter and booked into the Mohave County Adult Detention Facility.
Patricia N. Craft, 27 of Kingman, initially denied that she lit multiple fires near a residence in the block of Gold Street, but according to Kingman police, she later admitted involvement. The Kingman Fire Department was called to a residence in the block of Gold Street on June 18 regarding brush fires three separate times. On Thursday, investigating officers learned there had been other fires set where the home had actually been damaged before the fire was extinguished. Investigators established surveillance and observed Craft ignite a brush fire next to the home by throwing a bundle of ignited papers out of a window on the ground. The Kingman Police Department reports Craft initially denied involvement but later admitted to lighting the fires. Eight people related to Craft, ranging in age from young to elderly, were living in the home.
Detectives arrested eight Kingman, Arizona, residents. Michelle Bristol was with Pintarich and she was found to have a valid warrant for her arrest as well as in possession of methamphetamine and heroin. During a search of the residence Shawn Lancaster was found attempting to break a syringe loaded with methamphetamine. Lancaster was arrested and found to have a felony warrant for his arrest. Trichell lives at the residence and admitted to selling methamphetamine. Vernadena Hogan was found in the residence and admitted to using methamphetamine prior to the search warrant being served. Whitney Vanslyke and her boyfriend Ronald Trichell also live at the residence with their 2 children, ages 5 and 8.
